Head Chef & Co-creator Vilai Singto grew up in the countryside province of Prachinburi in Thailand contributing local tastes to the dishes created here. Vilai graduated from culinary school in Thailand before coming to the United States where she worked at Marnee Thai and Osha. Her merits were not unnoticed as we established the business model for our restaurant in 2010 at our local apartment in San Francisco.
The creators of White Lotus Thai in Albany have a strong family tradition of Thai cooking. We developed a passion for cooking food with our grandmother in Bangkok.
